A genus of Slipper Orchids They are native througout Mexico and South America They love day time temperatures of 75-87 F nighttime temperatures 60-65 degrees Bright indirect light is good for adult plants. Youn phragmipediums should not be exposed to quite as bright a light. They love water and it is fairly hard to overwater them Seedling grade fir bark is the best potting medium repot once a year
